I am absolutely THRILLED to be heading up to the North Washington area!
It’s a killer lineup of some of my favorite projects with amazing tutorials & AWESOME people in fabulous places. WHEW.
Please read ahead about all the offerings, never be afraid to let me know if you have questions & I can’t wait to see you in March for these 4 workshops!
First I’ll be joining my long time friend Jennifer at her studio in Tacoma called Crafty AF. I mean… COME ON!!! CRAFTY AF! SOLD! hahaha
We have 3 classes lined up to choose from – an evening class & 2 day classes, all with different techniques in mixed media.
Flora Zine

- How to fold & cut a zine

This workshop is 4-5 hours long. We have snacks available in the shop, you are welcome to bring your own snacks.
To ensure you have the best experience, we provide aprons and a convenient hand washing sink for your use. However, we recommend wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit of paint on, just in case creativity takes a colorful turn. We hope you enjoy your time creating and expressing yourself in our vibrant space!

Student’s Supplies : Black permanent pens, favorite wet adhesive, glue stick, paint brushes in various sizes, scissors, matte medium, a ruler, needles, stapler, a skein or two of embroidery floss, black permanent ink pad, paint markers if you have them, pencil, a small watercolor palette, fabric scraps.

THEN! My cousin Sue from make.do.craft & I have rented out the space at ALLIED ARTS!!! A creative reuse center inside a gallery & incredible organization.
This is 1 class spread out over 2 days. A Saturday evening & all day Sunday.
Rusty JUNK

March 14 – 4pm-8pm
March 15 – 10am-6pm
The evening of Saturday will be spent learning how to rust dye! we’ll prepare our bundles, set them to cook & return on Sunday to build a book with our new rusty pieces & a few of my favorite techniques! You WILL leave with a book full of amazing rusted pages. We will work on a few pages using some of our newly rusted bits to build artist pages that’ll inspire the rest of your book work. Price includes a workshop kit & instruction.
Bottled water & snacks provided. Lunch will break from 12:30-1:30 for close by things, or pack your lunch to stay & eat ^_^
Supplies:
- There will be a certain amount of sharable supplies.
- We are at a CREATIVE REUSE! so bring some $cash to do a little shopping, too!!!
- Please bring with you your standard art kit:
- Non-stick craft mat
- glue stick (uhu etc,)
- wet adhesive (like fabri-tac or fabri-fix)
- permanent black pens (micron or faber castell)
- scissors
- crop-o-dile or hole punch if you have one
- a poker tool / needle
- stapler
- a couple of paintbrushes
- a water cup.
- A few (A FEW) scraps of fabric
- A few (A FEW) pieces of varied paper
- Anything you NEED to have on hand when you junk journal <3
