A truly magical experience, stay in a comfy cabin, use ice from the lake, work among other artists, walk through the woods, soak up the atmosphere, there is just SO MUCH happening at the lake!
I’ll be working through an assemblage piece! Basically, we are making a stand-alone statement piece that screams “HEY, THIS IS WHO I AM!”
In a world that already wants to fragment us, we can take control of what and how we compartmentalize the various parts of who we are. We will build an UmWowStudio EXCLUSIVE chipboard box that features staggered panels meant to represent the beautiful, chaotic, wild, lovable, messy, intense, soft, MIXED MATCHED layers that make us who we are.
We’ll go through:

-using 3d elements
-image transfers
-layering effectively

Let’s MAKE SOME BOOKS! The 2026 edition of The Compendium Society will include more details soon. But come make BOOKS! Different from the 23/24/25 editions. each year will have NEW books & NEW techniques. Each edition also gets its own BOOKCASE that will stack with other editions – it’s so exciting!
Prerequisites: Must have basic mixed media and bookmaking experience. This is a technique building workshop.
